Up Close

Decatur City Dance is excited to present its fall dance concert, “Up Close.” Featuring members of AboutFace and the Nexus Company, the concert brings together original works choreographed by Patsy Collins, Leslie Gourley, Meg Gourley, and Toya Willingham. Guest artists The Emma Morris Project and Madeline O’Brien will also take the stage, with additional choreography by Caroline Alcott.

Through a dynamic collection of performances, “Up Close” invites audiences to experience dance from a closer perspective—and to explore what it truly means to see movement, emotion, and artistry up close.

Performances will be held Friday, November 13 at 8pm, Saturday, November, 14 at 4pm and 7pm (with a reception to follow the 7pm show), and Sunday, November 15 at 2pm, in the Sams Street Black Box Theatre, 141 Sams Street, Suite C, Decatur, GA 30030. Tickets go on sale Monday, October 19. Please visit www.decaturcitydance.org or call (404) 377-6927 for more information and to buy tickets.
