2026 Let's Tap!

What is LOVE and what is its POWER? The answer to this question is subjective and will vary from person to person. But a basic and possibly universal answer could be LOVE is an emotion and a behavior, seen as a powerful bond that fosters connection. A search for connection is human and can manifest as deep affection, strong attachment, and selfless concern for another's well-being. The 13th annual production of Let’s Tap!, directed and choreographed by Kyme Hersi-Sallid, will invite its audience to “tap” into their Power of Love. The show will celebrate our love for each other and our love for life through tap dance and music. You will experience the joy and love that the Rhythm Keepers and Junior Rhythm Keepers tap companies bring to the stage, along with our wonderful guests the Rug Cutters teen swing dance company, directed by Eliza Reese and Danny Iktomi Bevins. Please bring your heart to the show and join us for a toe-tapping celebration of the Power of Love, and don’t forget to bring your tap shoes if you wish to join us on stage for the Shim Sham. Let’s Tap!

"I'm Here"

Decatur City Dance is excited to present our fall dance concert “I’m Here” the weekend of November 7-9, 2025 in our recently refreshed Sams Street Black Box Theatre.
